Adding Shifts

Once a blank schedule has been created all employees will be displayed under "No Department." Shifts must be created, and employees assigned to those shifts.

To add a new shift click on 'Add Shift' and select the department this shift is for and the type of shift.

Shifts that are "Same Every Day" can be used for a plain shift that works the same times each day on certain days of the week.

Selecting a type of "Different" allows you to assign different times for each day of the week. This is good if start times are not always the same for this shift.

Shifts can also be added by clicking the "Copy" icon on the right side of an existing shift. A new shift will be created that has exactly the same times as the shift you copy.
