Introduction

Scheduling is a key part of your call center operation. TixTime's scheduling alls you to create shifts on a weekly basis and assign employees to those shifts. The daily scheduling view allows for fine tuning and scheduling of breaks.

Using the Schedule

Schedules exist on a per-week basis, and easy week can have a status of 'Empty', 'Not Published', or 'Published.'

When you view an Empty schedule you will have to option to create a new blank schedule or to copy last week's schedule. In most cases you will copy last weeks schedule forward and make modifications.

Scheduling is generally done a few weeks in advance, schedules with the status of 'Not Published' are work in progress schedules while 'Published' schedules are completed and changes are locked. When a schedule's status is changed to Published it is ready for printing and distributing to employees.

Toolbar

There is a toolbar at the top of the page (under the main tabs) where you can select either Weekly or Daily view.

The weekly view provides charts and schedule information for the entire week, and likewise the daily view is specific to one day.

Assigning Shifts

After you have created your shifts by Adding them and Copying existing shifts to suit your schedule needs employees must be assigned to the "Unassigned" shifts.

Charts

Charts are displayed in both the weekly and the daily views.

The Daily schedule view shows all shifts and the employees assigned to the shifts for each department.

Publishing

Once a schedule has been created it is in the "Not Published" state.

Teams

Use Teams to separate your shifts by skill, team, or location.

Weekly View

The Weekly view of the schedule displays all shifts and the employees assigned to those shifts for the entire week, by department.
